Not long ago, we heard the story of the hummingbird for the first time, and since then it has been with us every day:

"One day, a terrible fire erupted and vast areas of forest were engulfed in raging flames. Frightened all the animals fled and ran out of the forest. When they at the edge of a lake arrived, they stopped - discouraged and powerless as they watched their homes go up in flames. None of the animals, except a small one Hummingbird, decided to plunge into the lake and catch a few drop of water to catch them. He flew back and repeated the procedure again and again. The other animals watched the small bird in disbelief; some even made fun of his efforts. One of the larger animals finally asked the hummingbird, "What do you think you are doing?" Without wasting any time, the hummingbird looked back and said: I can't stop the fire alone, but I'll do my part and if you do yours, we'll do it together. That was the turning point: bigger animals joined the hummingbird and after a while they were able to stop the fire - together!"
